Coordinated Response Exercise
The Coordinated Response Exercise (CoRE) program is designed to bring together pipeline operators and first responders to build relationships and pre-plan for pipeline emergency response. These meetings offer first responders the opportunity to engage in valuable face-to-face discussions with local pipeline operators.
During the program, attendees will:
- Identify the different pipeline system types, products they transport, and locations of pipelines within your jurisdiction.
- Learn who your local pipeline operators are and work through a scenario tailored to your geographic region.
- Discuss the different types of response strategies required for pipeline emergencies, based on the product involved, its hazards, and characteristics.
There is no cost to attend, and a complimentary meal is provided by the sponsoring pipeline organizations.
Participants will have access to relevant resources:
- Emergency Response Portal Plan
- Online Training Center
